Every season I anticipate the launch of a new collection by Made Her Think. This collection, titled “My Own Private Idaho” features Langley Fox (Hemmingway. Yes, as in Dree’s sistah.) as both model and illustrator.
Meredith incorporated different textures in this collection, with pearls & wood added to the mix of molten metals. I’m dying for each piece.
I wouldn’t mind having an ass like that either.

UHHHHH. Speechless to say the least. JL F/W12 seriously left me a little brain dead.
Iridescent things are my weakness and this collection is my kryptonite. I can’t even bring to words how much this collection makes me weak in the knees. The jewel tones remind me of scarab beetles which I also have a weak spot for. I also love the subdued and almost pastel color of the golds/silvers. I’m a little relieved that I’m not seeing the over used antique brass treatment. It’s a definite breath of fresh metal air.

Some of my favorites (basically everything) from his SS12 collection. Blown away.

I’m loving the jewelry selection at UNA.

THE SEIZE KIND COLLECTION
Now THIS is how you make pearls wearable for the modern woman. Earcuffs, tennis bracelets, and caged rings. Brava.

Isaac Manevitz’s iconic line Ben Amun has graced the bodies of numerous celebrities both on and off the red carpet. Manevitz’s homeland of Egypt certainly has a large influence in his designs. I love the different range of styles Ben Amun offers: Art Deco, Vintage Glam, and Ethnic Royalty. Amun has it all! If I posted all the pieces I adore, I think I’d run out of room.

Venna started in 2005 by Patrick Wong and has already been accepted by the fashion industry as a jewelry staple. Venna can be found in high fashion boutiques around the globe and around the necks and wrists of the fashion elite. “Subtly elegant, rich, and varied” is how Patrick describes his collections. Luxurious and high end materials such as goat skin, Swarovski crystals, pearls, and goose feathers make up these glorious creations. Venna is definitely not for the meek.

Remember when I stated that Iosselliani would be my go to line if I struck it rich & could only sport one designer for the rest of my life? Well….I might have to retract that statement for the genius Tom Binns.
“Beginning his revolutionary career in 1981, his creative inspiration was and remains the early twentieth century Dada movement, amongst whose themes were deliberate irrationality, anarchy, and the rejection of standard beauty and social organization”
TB is FLOTUS approved also!
I also have a massive collection of photographias….but I’ll spare you and show my favorites in the newer collections.
